Data Storage

Your personal data mentioned above, first name, last name and email address is saved within the inbox support@zenoki.com. The local copy of this inbox resides on an encrypted MacBook Pro, accessible only by a password known to Zenoki Ltd Director, Ross Puddle. No-one else has use of this MacBook Pro, and if left unattended it is always secured.

This MacBook Pro is regularly backed up to an external Hard drive. This Hard drive is also encrypted by a password. This password is saved on the MacBook Pro itself, which provides an extra level of security.

This MacBook Pro is also backed up to a “cloud” service called Backblaze. The backup process is encrypted and the Zenoki Ltd data that is held on the Backblaze server, can only be accessed by Zenoki Ltd Director, Ross Puddle. This data is also secured by a two-step password system.

Please also note. The online server that hosts the email address support@zenoki.com, is provided by GoDaddy. It is held within the Zenoki Ltd cPanel account. This account can only be accessed via a two-step password verification. This password is only known to Zenoki Ltd Director, Ross Puddle.

Your right to be forgotten

Any email communication you have had with Zenoki Ltd via our website or apps is currently being held within our system and backups, for further reference. As detailed above.

If at anytime you would like to view a copy of these emails and/or any correspondence you’ve had with Zenoki Ltd, you are more than welcome. You also have a right to be forgotten. Which in a nutshell means you may request that we delete all information held on our systems and back ups, that might be personal to you. For example, any emails received or correspondence we (Zenoki Ltd) have had with you. We promise to comply within 14 days of receiving your request.

Flurry Analytics (Flurry, Inc.) Flurry Analytics is an analytics service provided by Yahoo! Inc.

This service is designed for mobile app analytics and can collect various information about your phone, highlighted in the Flurry Analytics Privacy Policy.

If the User chooses to Opt Out, Flurry will stop tracking data for the device identified by the provided MAC address and/or device identifier going forward. The analytics service tracking will stop across all applications within the Flurry network.

Commercial Affiliation

Within all our apps there are links to our developer page on the iOS App Store. This is so users of our apps can view our collection and purchase similar apps if they choose. This link to the iOS App Store contains an affiliate code. This code is tracked by a third-party service called iTunes affiliation (Apple Inc.). We are then paid a small amount of commission should you go on to purchase one of our apps, or others from the App Store within a short window of time. As of May 2018, this window was 24 hours. This is made possible by a tracking cookie.

The VIP List

“The VIP List” is currently only active in our two Complete Relaxation apps. It will be removed when the app is next updated to the App Store.

“The VIP List” has been processed by a company called MailChimp. MailChimp helps businesses create newsletters for their customers. If you signed up for “The VIP List”, your first name and email address will be stored within our account on MailChimp.com.

MailChimp also emails Zenoki Ltd when a new subscriber subscribes. Within this “confirmation of subscription” email we are given a copy of your first name and email address. But only if this has been approved by you during the sign up process. This confirmation email from MailChimp is saved in the inbox newsletter@zenoki.com.

Please note. You can unsubscribe at anytime from our newsletter and by doing so, your first name and email address will automatically be removed from our database at MailChimp.com. In turn MailChimp will inform us that you’ve unsubscribed and we will then, manually, delete your “confirmation of subscription” email from the inbox of newsletter@zenoki.com. Thus removing your name and email address from our system.

Please note: We are, as of May 2018, no longer sending out a VIP Newsletter. Although we may well do so in the future. Please also note: Even with the VIP Newsletter dormant, you can still unsubscribe at any time in the way mentioned above. And again, to reiterate. Your email address will not be shared by Zenoki Ltd. Our app Serenity: Meditation Timer. Will, if allowed by you, record details of your daily meditation to the Apple Health app. This data can be viewed, edited and deleted by you via the “Mindfulness” section of the Apple app. At no time can we, Zenoki Ltd, or the app, Serenity, view or access this data. It is yours alone and will remain private at all times. You can also opt in and out of this function at any time. If you need assistance with this, then please contact us via this page.

Meditation Statistics

Our app Serenity: Meditation Timer and our app Complete Relaxation will automatically record details of your daily meditation to the “Statistics” page within each app. This data can be viewed and reset by you via the “Statistics” page. At no time can we, Zenoki Ltd, view or access this data. It is saved locally on your iOS device and is yours alone. This data will remain private at all times. Please note. This data is removed from your device upon deletion of either Serenity or Complete Relaxation. This data can not be recovered once deleted.
