Music is powerful, very powerful! It can make you smile, laugh and even cry. Music can heighten an emotion and provoke memories long since forgotten. I love music, always have and always will. Nothing gives me more pleasure than to turn the volume up high and lose myself in a song, I guess this is why I wanted to be on the radio. To be involved in the industry and surrounded by music each and every day was just too appealing. So when it comes to selecting the music for our meditation and relaxation apps, I’m truly in my element. However, this makes me very fussy and only the best will do!
For Complete Relaxation, I must have listened to hundreds of tracks before compiling my final Top 10! This in turn became a Top 5 and finally an overall No 1 winner. But even this track, just wasn’t right. So, armed with a fresh cup of coffee I started again, preparing for the long haul! But in a true power of attraction moment, I “stumbled” upon the website of Christopher Lloyd Clarke, only moments after sitting down. Fast forward an hour and all tracks were chosen, and were perfect!

Introducing Christopher Lloyd Clarke B.Sc, Msc.D
Christopher is a music composer who specializes in music for deep relaxation, meditation and healing. His soothing music is utilized by meditation teachers, holistic healers, psychologists, personal development consultants and medical facilities throughout the world.
Christopher’s extensive experience with meditation coupled with his studies into metaphysics and his ongoing involvement with a global network of therapists and healers. Has given him a unique insight into how to create music that encourages deep relaxation and altered states of consciousness.
“I have been composing music for about as long as I have been practicing meditation… around 15 years now. I’m keenly aware of how important music is to the healing arts. Music is a language of emotion, and of spirit, and it can do so much more than just sit in the background. When used to enhance a natural healing practice, music can have a profound effect on the listener. It sets the mood for their experience, it lulls their mind into a state of relaxation, and it helps them open up to the healing power of your words”.
As a best-selling meditation music artist, Christopher’s music is loved both by meditation enthusiasts and by a variety of professionals who rely on his music for its therapeutic benefits. Many people have benefited from Christopher’s music, including Autistic children and those with ADHD, returned soldiers suffering from PTSD and as a sleep aid for those suffering from insomnia.
“While I’m composing, I enter into a state of deep relaxation. I feel my way through the music as I search for sounds that draw me into a deeper and deeper state. It’s a wonderful, intuitive process – a process that I have cultivated through years of meditation practice… At the same time, I’m well versed in the scientific principles of psychoacoustics and music psychology, and I apply these principles whenever I write music for meditation and deep relaxation. I also take a very hands on approach to the audio engineering processes that take place during mixing and mastering. I’m very careful about getting the sound just right”
Track Listing – Complete Relaxation Series
The Essence of Peace is a zen meditation music masterpiece that will leave you feeling centered, relaxed and at peace.
In The Essence of Peace, the tranquil sound of a concert harp provides a hypnotic, mantra-like foundation to the soft sounds that float above it. Very pure. Very simple. Very zen.
I could write so much more to describe this beautiful music, but I like to think that the title “The Essence of Peace” really says it all.

So beautiful and inspiring – Heaven’s Gate will open your heart and fill you with a sense of serenity and spirit. While this music is calming and uplifting, it also has moments of great emotional depth and has been known to bring a tear to the eye of some listeners. Seriously heart-warming indeed!
When I created Heaven’s Gate I was in such a blissful state of deep relaxation. The music just flowed through me and the entire composition came together very quickly… this always happens when I’m really in the zone… it’s also when I write my best music. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
